Who was the man who discovered Africa?

Africa wasn’t “discovered” by a single person, as it has been inhabited for thousands of years. However, in terms of European exploration, Henry the Navigator, a Portuguese prince in the 15th century, played a significant role in exploring the west coast of Africa. His expeditions helped map the continent and established trade routes. Another key figure was Vasco da Gama, who, in 1498, sailed around the southern tip of Africa to reach India.
